We went on this amazing trip this August, at the ocean front. This was for my best friend and business partner, Iry’s birthday! She brought all of us on this fantastic trip tubing, where we all had a ball! Falling into the ocean (of course with the safety of life vests), getting to listen to our own playlists and having the chance to see friends have a time of their lives.
Our sailor, Mr. Zay, was so kind and as adventurous as us took us all around the sea, revving his engine as we all held on for our lives on the tubing raft. When I tell you I was so nervous to get on the raft I was shaking getting on to it! Once my partner and I were secured, he let the boat go as fast as possible. Swinging us in every direction! I have advice for anyone getting to try tubing, when the boat is going left, lean in the other direction and vice versa. Trust me with the momentum going in that direction it will make the raft tip over cause you and your partner to fly!
That’s exactly what happened to the birthday girl! I recorded this experience and the moment I think I have enough footage, she goes flying. Her boyfriend tips over the side as well trying to get to her. We all have this joke about Iry not knowing how to swim, but in that moment we had to stop and ask aloud, “wait can Iry swim?” But we didn’t need to continue with that line of questioning as we got them on the boat safe and sound!
Now the rest of them? What else can I say other than they were ‘aura farming.’ Getting up to surf on the raft on rough waters, hands above the head without a care in the world on swift turns!
When it was my turn, I held on for dear life. Following all the directions for I didn’t want to be thrown off the raft, my partner had other ideas. Any turn we were on he would go in the other direction!! I haven’t been so caught off gear like that in a long time!
But honestly I can’t be too upset. It made the experience even more crazy! The raft would fly even higher in the air catching crazy air in the meantime as I am freaking out. After our turn was over, all that nervousness went away.
By the time our 3 hours were up, we were all sluggish getting back into our cars to take a nap. From all 6 people that I went with, we were all knocked out after our showers. Truly what an amazing experience, something I will never forget. There were dolphins riding along the waves we were creating because the sailor told us that no one has gotten so close to see them like that.
To say I was honored is an understatement of the century. Getting to see a baby dolphin swimming between the parents was so cute and how they were gliding was so seamless. Would give this a 11/10!
