I work across drawing, painting, glass, and beat-making to capture connection. Each piece—sound or sculpture—is an invitation to feel, remember, and move.
SELF PORTRAIT
Stemming from my Fundamentals of Design class, the "Self-Portrait of Mixed Media" stands as a testament to experimentation and personal expression. Drawing upon a variety of mediums, I embarked on a journey to portray myself through layers of color, texture, and recycled materials. From the hat perched atop my head to the yarn comprising my beard, each element holds a story, weaving together fragments of my identity into a cohesive whole. While the process was both challenging and rewarding, it allowed me to explore not only the physical aspects of portraiture but also the emotional depth that lies beneath the surface.
